Start at the center of Egilsstaðir, near the Egilsstaðir town square. Head north on Bankavegur Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Hringvegur Road (Route 1). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Árhvammur on your right. Turn right onto Árhvammur and walk about 300 meters. Selskógur will be on your left at Árhvammur 40.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Egilsstaðir town square and head north on Bankavegur Street. Continue towards the roundabout and take the second exit onto Hringvegur Road (Route 1). Cycle for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see a turn-off for Árhvammur on your right. Turn onto Árhvammur and bike for about 300 meters. Selskógur will be on your left at Árhvammur 40.

To reach Selskógur by taxi, you can pick up a taxi from various points in Egilsstaðir, such as the town square or your accommodation. Simply tell the driver to take you to Selskógur at Árhvammur 40. The journey should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
