Start at the center of Grindavik, near the main town square. Head northeast on Suðurgata street towards the coast for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Norðurgata. Turn left onto Norðurgata and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a bus stop; at this point, you will need to take a bus to Reykjavík. Board the bus towards Reykjavík and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, get off at the stop closest to Pósthússtræti. From there, walk east along Pósthússtræti for about 200 meters to reach Austurvöllur park.
