Walking
From the center of Grindavik, head north on Aðalgata Street towards the main road, Route 43. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Route 43. Turn left onto Route 43 and walk for approximately 200 meters. You will see a bus stop on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Route 41, where you will need to take a bus to Reykjavík. Board a bus heading to Reykjavík and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, follow the signs towards the city center. From there, make your way to Hofsvallagata. You can either walk for about 15 minutes or take a local bus. If walking, head towards Hlemmur Square and follow the signs to Hofsvallagata. Vesturbæjarlaug will be located at Hofsvallagata, 107, Reykjavík.
Public Transport
Start at the nearest bus stop in Grindavik and catch a bus heading to Reykjavík, specifically the bus that goes to Hlemmur Terminal. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Hlemmur Terminal, exit the bus and look for the local bus services. From Hlemmur, you can take a bus towards Vesturbær or walk towards the city center. If walking, head west from Hlemmur Terminal, then turn right onto Laugavegur Street and walk straight until you reach Hofsvallagata. Vesturbæjarlaug will be on your left at Hofsvallagata, 107.
