If you are driving, start from the center of Grundarfjörður. Head southwest on Þjóðvegur 54 (also known as the Ring Road), and follow the signs towards Kirkjufell. After approximately 2 km, take a left turn towards Kirkjufell and continue on the gravel road until you reach the Kirkjufell Viewpoint parking area. The viewpoint is a short walk from the parking lot.
