From Hengifoss Waterfall, head southwest on Route 1. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 27 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 93. Turn left onto Route 93 towards Seyðisfjörður. Follow Route 93 for about 23 kilometers, which includes a scenic drive through the mountains. You will arrive at Seyðisfjörður. There are no tolls on this route, but ensure your vehicle is equipped for mountain driving conditions, especially in winter.

If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus schedules for the nearest bus stop to Hengifoss Waterfall. Buses operated by Strætó run from Egilsstaðir to Seyðisfjörður.
