Continue on Route 30 for about 35 km until you reach the junction with Route 26. Turn right onto Route 26 and follow it for about 20 km until you reach a small road marked for Granni. The road to Granni is a gravel road, so make sure your vehicle is suitable for such terrain. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km until you arrive at the Granni waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Granni using public transportation, first take a bus from the main bus terminal in the Highlands to Hella. From Hella, you will need to transfer to a local bus that services the Þjórsárdalur area. Unfortunately, direct public transport to Granni may not be available, so you might need to arrange for a taxi from the nearest bus stop to the waterfall.
