From the main road (Route 1), head towards the town of Höfn. Once you are on Route 1, continue for about 70 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 998. Turn onto Route 998 and follow the signs for Vatnajökull National Park. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs for Melrakki Adventures. Follow Flugvallarvegur for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at Melrakki Adventures located at Flugvallarvegur 5, 785.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Reykjavík to Höfn operated by Strætó or other local services. From Höfn, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or shuttle service, as public transport options directly to Melrakki Adventures are limited. Expect to pay around 15,000 ISK for the bus from Reykjavík to Höfn, and the taxi from Höfn to Melrakki Adventures may cost an additional 5,000 ISK, depending on the distance.

If you are already near the Skaftafell area within Vatnajökull National Park, you can walk from the Skaftafell Visitor Center. Start by heading southwest on the main trail, and follow the signs directing you to the main road. Upon reaching the road, turn left and continue walking towards Flugvallarvegur. The distance is approximately 5 kilometers and may take around 1 hour. Please note that this option is only advisable if you are well-prepared for walking long distances, and always check the weather conditions.
