    From the center of Húsavík, head southwest on Aðalstræti towards the harbor. Continue on Aðalstræti until you reach the intersection with Hafnarstræti. Turn left onto Hafnarstræti. After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for the bus stop. Take bus number 61 towards Reykjahlíð. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Reykjahlíð stop, which is the closest stop to Hverfjall. From the bus stop, walk south towards the Hverfjall Volcano. The viewpoint is located approximately 2 kilometers from the bus stop. Follow the path leading up to the volcano, which is marked with signs. It is a moderate hike with a well-defined trail.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Húsavík. Start from the center of Húsavík and head southwest on Aðalstræti towards the harbor. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Hafnarstræti. Turn left onto Hafnarstræti and follow it for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the road leading to Reykjahlíð. Take a right onto the road and continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach a parking area near Hverfjall. From there, you can hike up to the viewpoint, which is about 1 kilometer from the parking area.
