If you are driving from the center of Hveragerdi, head northwest on Biskupstungnabraut/Route 1. Continue for about 22 km until you reach the intersection with Route 41. Merge onto Route 41 towards Reykjavík. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Laugardalur. Follow the signs for Laugardalsvöllur Stadium. Once you approach the stadium, park in the designated parking area.
Public Transportation
To get to Laugardalsvöllur using public transportation, start at the Hveragerdi bus station. Take Bus 51 towards Reykjavík and get off at the 'Laugardalur' stop. This journey will take approximately 40 minutes. From the bus stop, walk east for about 10 minutes, following signs to Laugardalsvöllur Stadium. You will pass by the Laugardalslaug swimming pool, which is a notable landmark in the area.
