Hi, I'm Eve. Here are a few practical things to know before exploring Iceland Activities.
Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Hveragerði. Head southwest on Ásbraut toward Hveragerðisgata. Continue straight to stay on Ásbraut, which will become Mánamörk. The destination, Iceland Activities, is located at Mánamörk, 810 Hveragerði. Look for the sign on the right side of the road. Parking is available on-site for free.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Mánamörk. You may need to take a bus from the Hveragerði bus terminal. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Mánamörk, as it is a popular stop. The walk from the bus stop to Iceland Activities is minimal, just a short walk down Mánamörk. Ensure you have some local currency for the bus fare, which may range from 400 to 800 ISK depending on your starting point.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hveragerði. From the town center, take Ásbraut and follow the same route as for cars. The bike ride is approximately 2 km and should take about 10-15 minutes. Be cautious of traffic and watch for bike lanes if available. Upon arrival, you can lock your bike at the designated bike rack.
