Walking
From the center of Hveragerdi, head northwest on Hveragerðisgata towards Hveragerðisvegur. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Þjóðvegur). Cross the road carefully and take the bus stop at Hveragerði, which is located just at the intersection. Board bus number 51 towards Mosfellsbær. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the Hvammsvik stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head southwest on Hvammsvík road towards the hot springs, follow the signs, and you will find Hvammsvik Hot Springs.

If you are at the Hveragerdi town square, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 51 towards Mosfellsbær. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hvammsvik bus stop, disembark and walk southwest on Hvammsvík road. Follow the path for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the Hvammsvik Hot Springs. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand to ensure you don’t miss your ride.
