Start at the center of Hveragerði, near the Reykjagata street. Head southwest towards Brattahlíð street. Continue walking for about 1.5 km. Follow the signs for 'Reykjafoss Waterfall' as you approach the outskirts of town. You will cross a small bridge over the river, and from there, the waterfall will be visible ahead. The pathway to the waterfall is well-marked, and the final approach involves a short uphill walk to reach the viewpoint.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Hveragerði. Begin your ride from the main square and head towards Brattahlíð street. Follow the bike path which leads along the river. The route is approximately 1.5 km and offers scenic views. Once you reach the entrance to the waterfall area, secure your bike at the designated bike racks before walking the last part of the path to the waterfall.
