    From the center of Hveragerdi, head south on Aðalgata street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Suðurlandsvegur (Route 1). Follow this road for approximately 6 kilometers. You'll see signs for Thríhnúkagígur Volcano. The entrance is located at the base of the volcano.
