Look for signs indicating Hafnarfjörður, and merge onto Route 41 towards Hafnarfjörður. As you get closer to Hafnarfjörður, follow the signs for the Thríhnúkagígur Volcano which will direct you to X8X2+9CM. There is parking available near the site.

    From Hveragerði, take Bus 51 towards Reykjavík. After about 25 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Hafnarfjörður'.
