Car
Start by heading south on the main road, Þjóðvegur 1 (also known as the Ring Road), from Hveragerði. Continue driving for approximately 45 km (around 30 minutes), following the signs towards Reykjavík. As you approach the city, look for signs directing you to the Miðborg area. Once in Reykjavík, take the exit towards Hringbraut/Þjóðvegur 1, and then continue on Hringbraut until you reach the intersection with Tryggvagata. Turn right onto Tryggvagata, and you will find Volcano House at number 11 on your right.
Public Transportation
From Hveragerði, take the Strætó bus number 51 towards Reykjavík. The bus will take you directly to the city center. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Reykjavík, walk towards Hringbraut street by heading northwest. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tryggvagata. Turn right onto Tryggvagata, and Volcano House will be located at 11 Tryggvagata, just a short walk from the bus station.
