Once you reach the main road, turn right onto Skálavíkurvegur. Continue walking along this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you will enjoy views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and the beautiful landscapes. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach Minnibakki Beach on your right side, marked by a small access path leading down to the beach.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ísafjörður. Start your journey from the bike rental location and head towards Skálavíkurvegur. Follow the same route as the walking directions, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers. Biking will take about 5-10 minutes depending on your pace. Make sure to enjoy the scenery along the way and be mindful of the occasional car passing by.
