From the center of Ísafjörður, head southwest on Aðalgata towards the intersection with Hnífsdalur. As you reach the intersection, turn left onto Hnífsdalur. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction with the road to Suðureyri. Follow the signs for Suðureyri. The total walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

From Ísafjörður, you can take the local bus (check the latest schedule) towards Suðureyri. The bus stop is located near the center of Ísafjörður. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Suðureyri, you can walk from the bus stop to the Viking hovel, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head towards the Unnamed Road, where the Viking hovel is located at coordinates 4CFM+H2R.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Ísafjörður. Start your journey by heading southwest on Aðalgata, then take a left onto Hnífsdalur.
