Walking
If you are starting from the Hafnarfjordur town center, head southwest on Strandgata towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the harbor. From the harbor, turn left onto Víðistaðavegur and follow the road as it turns into Brekkustígur. Keep walking straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach Brimketill lava rock pool, which will be on your left. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views of the coastline along the way.

From the Hafnarfjordur bus terminal (Hafnarfjörður miðbær), take bus number 1 towards Mjódd. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Brimketill'. From there, walk about 500 meters towards the coast following the signs to Brimketill lava rock pool. This journey should take you approximately 25-30 minutes in total, including the bus ride.
