Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop 'Hafnarfjörður, Norðurhella'. From there, transfer to bus number 1 towards 'Hafnarfjörður, Stafnes'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Hafnarfjörður, Gálgahraun'. From that stop, it is a 15-minute walk to Thríhnúkagígur Volcano. Head southeast on Gálgahraun road, then turn left onto Mývatn road. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Thríhnúkagígur Volcano.
