Walking

If you are starting from Kópavogur town center, head southwest on Garðastræti street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kópavogsgarður, and turn left. Follow Kópavogsgarður until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Smáragata. Continue walking along Smáragata until you reach a small path on the right leading into a green area. Follow this path until you arrive at Kópavogstjörn, located at approximately 434X+349, Kópavogslækur.
Public Transport

From Kópavogur town center, take bus number 1 (direction to BSI). Get off at the 'Múlagata' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the intersection of Múlagata and Smáragata. Turn left onto Smáragata and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the park area leading to Kópavogstjörn. Follow the path that leads into the green area, and you will find Kópavogstjörn at 434X+349, Kópavogslækur.
