Public Transportation

Make sure to check the schedule as connections can vary. After arriving at Þingvellir, you may need to take a taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to reach Kerid Crater, as public transportation to the crater itself is limited. Be aware that the total cost may vary based on bus fares and taxi charges.

If you are in a more remote part of the Northeastern Region, consider renting a car for greater flexibility. Follow similar directions as above from your specific location, utilizing GPS or a maps app to navigate.
