Car
From Hveragerði town center, head northeast on Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1) for approximately 2.5 km. Turn left onto Reykjadalur Road (a gravel road), where you will find signs pointing to Reykjadalur. Continue on this road for about 3 km until you reach the parking area at the trailhead for the Reykjadalur hiking trail. From the parking lot, follow the marked trail for about 3 km to reach Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge, where you can enjoy the hot springs.

Take the bus from the Hveragerði bus stop towards Reykjavík. You will need to get off at the stop for Reykjalundur. From there, it's approximately a 30-minute walk to the Reykjadalur trailhead. Follow the signs towards Reykjadalur, and then hike the trail for about 3 km to reach Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge.

If you are already in Hveragerði, you can walk to Reykjadalur Skáli/Lodge by heading towards the Reykjadalur trailhead. Starting from the town center, walk northeast along Þjóðvegur 1 for about 2.5 km, then turn left onto Reykjadalur Road. This part of the journey is about 3 km to the parking area. Once at the parking lot, follow the trail which is approximately 3 km to the lodge.
