After approximately 40 km, take the exit onto Route 84 towards Mývatn. Continue on Route 84 for about 50 km until you reach the Dimmuborgir area. Look for signs directing you to Lavator Dimmuborgir. There is a parking area available near the entrance, which is free of charge.
