Car
If you're traveling by car from any location in the Northwestern Region, start by getting onto Route 1 (the Ring Road). Follow Route 1 southbound until you reach the capital city, Reykjavík. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, follow the signs for Sæbraut road. The Sun Voyager is located directly along the waterfront at Sæbraut, 101 Reykjavík. There is parking available near the sculpture, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from your location in the Northwestern Region to Reykjavík. Check the local bus schedule for the nearest bus station and the available routes. Once in Reykjavík, you can take bus number 14 from the main bus terminal (BSÍ) towards Kópavogur and get off at the 'Sæbraut' stop, which is a short walk from the Sun Voyager. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary, especially during weekends and holidays.
