    From the center of Olafsvik, head west on Aðalgata towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sæbólsvegur. Turn left onto Sæbólsvegur. Follow this road as it curves and heads northwest, passing by beautiful coastal views. Keep walking for approximately 3.5 km until you reach a sign for Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge. The gorge entrance is just off the road. You’ll see a parking area, where you can take a short steep hike that leads directly into the gorge.

    From Olafsvik, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Aðalgata. Check the local bus schedule for services to Hellnar. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are headed to Hellnar for Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Disembark at the Hellnar stop. From there, follow the walking path towards the gorge, which is approximately a 1 km walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs directing you to Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge.
