If you are in the central area of Reykjavík, start from the Hallgrímskirkja church. Head southeast on Hallgrímstorg towards Skólavörðustígur. Continue straight on Skólavörðustígur, then turn left onto Laugavegur street. Walk along Laugavegur until you reach Njálsgata, and then turn right. Continue walking on Njálsgata for a few blocks until you reach Njálsgata 22b, where the Mermaid mural is located on the side of the building.

From the main bus terminal (BSÍ), take bus number 14 towards 'Kopavogur' and get off at the 'Hlemmur' stop. From Hlemmur, walk southwest along Laugavegur street until you reach Njálsgata. Turn right onto Njálsgata, and walk until you find Njálsgata 22b, where you will see the Mermaid mural.
