If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Vik. Drive west on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Selfoss for about 70 km. At Selfoss, take Route 36 towards Þingvellir National Park. Continue on Route 36 until you reach Route 37, then turn left onto Route 37. Stay on this road for about 30 km until you see the signs for Hvolsvöllur. From Hvolsvöllur, take Route 1 again towards the west for about 40 km. Look for signs leading to Þrídrangar Lighthouse. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area and hike for approximately 1.5 km to reach the lighthouse.

If you're using public transportation, you can take a bus from Reykjavik to Vik (check with Strætó for schedules). Once in Vik, you may need to arrange a taxi to take you closer to Þrídrangar Lighthouse, as public transport may not go directly to the lighthouse. Confirm the taxi fare before starting your journey. Upon reaching the nearest drop-off point, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 km to the lighthouse.
