From Reykjavik, take the Ring Road (Route 1) heading east. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Route 30. Continue on Route 30 until you reach the intersection with Route 1 at Hella. Continue east on Route 1 until you reach Egilsstaðir. From Egilsstaðir, follow Route 93 north towards Brekka. When you reach Brekka, look for signs directing you to Hengifoss. The last part of the journey will involve a short drive up to the Hengifoss parking area, where you can park your car.
