Drive for about 30 km on F249 until you reach the parking area for Stakkholtsgjá canyon. The canyon entrance is well-marked, and you’ll need to park here before starting your hike.

From Hella, you can catch a shuttle service or tour bus that operates trips to the Highlands, including Stakkholtsgjá canyon.
