If you are driving to Básaskersbryggja in Vestmannaeyjabær, start from the center of Thorsmork. Head north on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Hvolsvöllur. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 90 kilometers. As you approach Hvolsvöllur, take the exit towards Route 261, which leads to Landeyjahöfn. Follow Route 261 until you reach the ferry terminal at Landeyjahöfn, where you can take the ferry to Vestmannaeyjar. Once you arrive in Vestmannaeyjar, follow the signs to Básaskersbryggja, which is the ferry terminal area.

To reach Básaskersbryggja using public transportation, start at the Thorsmork bus station. Take the bus that goes towards Hvolsvöllur (check the current bus schedule as it may vary). Once you arrive in Hvolsvöllur, you will need to transfer to a bus that travels to Landeyjahöfn. This journey may take around 1 to 1.5 hours. At Landeyjahöfn, you will board the ferry to Vestmannaeyjar. After arriving on the island, look for signs directing you to Básaskersbryggja, which is the ferry terminal.
