If you are traveling by car within Vatnajokull National Park, start by heading towards Route 1, the Ring Road. From there, drive towards the town of Selfoss and take Route 35. Follow Route 35 until you reach the intersection with Route 30. Turn onto Route 30 and continue until you see signs for Kerid Crater. The crater is located at the address 24R7+GW9, 805 Klausturholar. There is a parking area available near the crater. Note that there is an entrance fee of around 400 ISK per person.
