After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the junction with Route 63. Turn left onto Route 63 and continue for about 10 km until you reach Suðureyri. Once you arrive in Suðureyri, follow the local signs or a GPS to 4CFM+H2R, Unnamed Road. There is no entry fee to visit the Viking hovel.

    For those using public transportation, take the bus from Ísafjörður to Suðureyri. The bus service is operated by Strætó and runs several times a day.
