If you are traveling by car, the most straightforward route to Drangaskörð is via Route 61. Start from Ísafjörður, the largest town in the Westfjords. Head south on Route 61 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Þingeyri. Take a left onto Route 63, and continue driving for about 25 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Drangaskörð, then turn left onto the gravel road leading to the cliff formation. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the parking area near the base of Drangaskörð. Be sure to check the weather conditions as the roads can be challenging in winter.
