You will then turn left onto Route 61 towards Þingeyri. Continue on Route 61 for about 18 km until you reach the junction with Route 63. Take a left onto Route 63, and follow it for about 14 km. Look for signs directing you towards Dynjandi, which is located about 3 km from the turnoff. The parking area for Dynjandi is clearly marked, and from there, it is a short walk to the waterfall itself. Be aware that some roads may be gravel, so drive cautiously.

    If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Ísafjörður to Þingeyri, which is available several times a day.
