Car
If you're starting from the town of Stykkishólmur, drive southeast on Route 54. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, take the exit towards Súgandisey Island. Continue along the road as it curves and leads you to a small parking area near the lighthouse. The coordinates for the lighthouse are 65.080237, -22.723368. Make sure to have a GPS device or a map app to guide you, as some roads may be less marked.
Public Transportation
From Stykkishólmur, you can take a local bus to the nearest stop. Look for the bus service that runs towards the lighthouse area (check local schedules as they may vary). Once you arrive at the closest bus stop, it is advisable to walk the remaining distance to the lighthouse, which is about a 20-minute walk. Make sure to check the bus timetable ahead of your trip to plan accordingly.
Walking
If you're already in Stykkishólmur and prefer to walk, you can head directly towards the coast from the town center.
