    From Ponderosa State Park, exit the park and head southeast on ID-55 S. Continue on ID-55 S for approximately 7 miles until you reach the intersection with McCall Avenue. Turn left onto McCall Avenue and follow it until you reach the town of McCall. Once in McCall, you can follow signs to Payette National Forest, which is located just to the northwest of the town.
