Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from any location within Sawtooth National Recreation Area, start by heading south on ID-75 S. Continue on ID-75 S for approximately 45 miles until you reach the town of Hailey. In Hailey, take the exit for ID-20 E toward Idaho Falls. Continue on ID-20 E for about 70 miles. You will pass through the town of Arco. Once you reach Arco, turn left onto Craters Loop Road. Follow this road for about 5 miles, and you will arrive at the Craters of the Moon National Monument Visitor Center, located at 1266 Craters Loop Road, Arco, ID 83213.
