Public Transport - Train
From downtown Arlington Heights, walk to the Arlington Heights Metra station located at 45 W Northwest Hwy. Take the Metra UP-NW line towards Chicago. After approximately 35 minutes, get off at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. From there, transfer to the Union Station exit and walk to the nearby CTA 'Pink Line' train. Take the Pink Line towards 54th/Cermak and get off at the Polk station. From Polk station, walk east to the intersection of S Halsted St and W 18th St, then catch the #18 bus towards the Museum Campus. Get off at the 'Museum Campus' stop, which is a short walk from the Adler Planetarium.
