Getting There

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From the downtown Aurora area, walk to the Aurora Transportation Center located at 233 N Broadway Ave, Aurora, IL 60505. Catch the Pace Bus Route 801 towards Batavia. You will need to ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at the intersection of Main St and Fabyan Pkwy. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Fabyan Windmill. Walk east on Fabyan Parkway, then turn right onto Crissey Ave. Continue walking until you reach 1500 Crissey Ave, Batavia, IL 60510, where the windmill is located.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can start from downtown Aurora and head north on the Fox River Trail. Follow the trail for about 5 miles until you reach Fabyan Park. From the park, take the path towards Crissey Ave, and you’ll find the Fabyan Windmill located at 1500 Crissey Ave, Batavia, IL 60510. The ride should take about 30 to 40 minutes depending on your speed.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start your journey from downtown Aurora. Head north on Broadway Ave, then take a left on New York St. Follow New York St until it turns into Main St. Continue walking straight until you reach Fabyan Parkway. From there, turn left and continue until you reach Crissey Ave. Turn right onto Crissey Ave, and Fabyan Windmill will be on your left at 1500 Crissey Ave, Batavia, IL 60510. This walk is approximately 6 miles and may take around 2 hours.
