Board the train heading towards Chicago and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the 'Ogilvie Transportation Center' exit. From there, you can take the CTA 'Pink Line' train towards '54th/Cermak' station. After about 15 minutes, get off at the '18th' station. Exit the station and walk east on 18th Street until you reach S. Halsted St. Turn right on Halsted and walk south until you reach W. 18th St. Here, you will find a bus stop for the #62 bus heading towards 'Damen'. Take the bus and get off at the 'Lakefront Trail' stop. From there, you can easily access the beautiful trails along the lake.

If you are already in Berwyn and prefer to walk to Lakefront Trail, start at the Berwyn train station. Walk east on Windsor Ave until you reach the intersection with Harlem Ave. Cross Harlem Ave and continue walking east. Follow the road until you reach 16th St. Turn left on 16th St and walk until you reach the intersection with Ogden Ave. At Ogden Ave, turn right and walk south until you reach the River Forest area. Continue walking until you reach the riverfront, where you will find the entrance to the Lakefront Trail. Make sure to enjoy the views along the way!
Biking
If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Berwyn to Lakefront Trail. Start at the Berwyn train station and head east on Windsor Ave. Turn right on Harlem Ave and head south. Once you reach 16th St, take a left and follow it until you reach Ogden Ave. Turn right on Ogden Ave and continue biking south until you arrive at the entrance to Lakefront Trail. There are bike racks available at the entrance for you to secure your bike while you enjoy the trails.
