Getting There

Public Bus
From Bolingbrook, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Pace Bus Route 834 towards the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Orange Line at the 95th Street Terminal. Ride the bus until you reach the 95th Street Terminal. From there, transfer to the CTA Orange Line train heading towards Midway. After a few stops, transfer to the Brown Line at the Harold Washington Library Station. Continue on the Brown Line until you reach the Armitage Station. Exit the train and head north on Armitage Avenue until you reach North Clark Street. Turn left (west) on Clark, and you’ll find the Chicago History Museum at 1601 N Clark St.

Start by taking a Pace Bus to the nearest Metra train station, which is the Bolingbrook Station. Board the Metra train on the Heritage Corridor line heading towards Union Station in Chicago. Disembark at the Union Station stop. From there, walk to the nearby Washington/Wells station and transfer to the Brown Line train. Take the Brown Line northbound and get off at the Armitage Station. Walk north on Armitage Avenue to North Clark Street, turn left (west), and you’ll arrive at the Chicago History Museum located at 1601 N Clark St.
