Get off at the stop at 55th Street and Dusable Lake Shore Drive. From there, walk east on 55th Street until you reach Dusable Lake Shore Drive, then turn left and walk north along the lake until you reach Burnham Park Promontory Point, located at 5491 S Dusable Lake Shore Drive. The walk should take about 10 minutes.
Public Transit - Train
From downtown Chicago, take the 'Red Line' train from any downtown station (e.g., State/Lake) towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Get off at the 55th-56th-57th Street station. After exiting the station, head east toward 55th Street and then walk south for about 5 minutes until you reach Dusable Lake Shore Drive. Turn right and walk along the lake until you reach Burnham Park Promontory Point, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

If you are already in the Hyde Park neighborhood, you can walk to Burnham Park Promontory Point. Start at the center of Hyde Park, near the University of Chicago campus. Head east on 57th Street until you reach Dusable Lake Shore Drive. Turn left and follow the road north along the lake for about 15-20 minutes. You will see the park entrance on your right as you approach 5491 S Dusable Lake Shore Drive.
Biking
You can rent a Divvy bike from a nearby bike-sharing station. Once you have the bike, head south on the bike path along the lakefront. Follow the path until you reach Burnham Park Promontory Point at 5491 S Dusable Lake Shore Drive. The ride from downtown should take around 25-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
