Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you're in downtown Chicago, head to the nearest bus stop and take the #151 bus heading north. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Lincoln Park W & Wrightwood Av' stop. From the bus stop, walk north on Lincoln Park West for about 5 minutes until you reach the Ulysses S. Grant Monument located at 2045 N Lincoln Park W.

• Public Transit - Train & Walk

  If you are near the 'Clark/Lake' station, take the Brown Line train towards Kimball. Get off at the 'Fullerton' station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Fullerton Ave for about 10 minutes until you reach Lincoln Park. Turn left (west) onto Lincoln Park W, and continue for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the Ulysses S. Grant Monument.

• Walking

  If you are already in Lincoln Park, you can walk to the Ulysses S. Grant Monument by heading towards Lincoln Park W. Simply walk north on Lincoln Park W for about 10 minutes, passing by the beautiful park scenery until you reach the monument at 2045 N Lincoln Park W.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can rent a Divvy bike from one of the many bike stations around Chicago. If you are near the lakefront, follow the bike path north along Lake Shore Drive. Once you reach Lincoln Park, head west on Fullerton Ave, then north on Lincoln Park W. The monument is approximately a 15-minute bike ride from the lakefront.
