From downtown Joliet, walk to the Joliet Transit Center located at 200 W Jefferson St. Take the Pace #386 bus towards Chicago, which departs several times a day. Remain on the bus for approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the stop at 57th St & Woodlawn Ave. From there, walk north on Woodlawn Ave for about 5 minutes to reach the Frederick C. Robie House at 5757 S Woodlawn Ave.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Joliet, such as Joliet Cycle. Once you have your bike, head east on Jefferson St until you reach the DuPage River Trail.
