Public Bus
From your location in Cicero, walk to the nearest bus stop that serves the Pace bus system. Take the Pace Bus Route 75 towards the Kedzie Pink Line Station. Ride the bus until you reach the Kedzie Pink Line Station. From there, transfer to the Pink Line train and head towards the 18th stop, which is the Damen station. Once at Damen, transfer to the Blue Line train towards O'Hare and ride until you reach the Clark/Lake station. At Clark/Lake, transfer to the Green Line train towards Ashland and get off at the 18th stop, which is the 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station. From the station, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles east to reach the Adler Planetarium at 1300 S Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60605.

Start by walking to the nearest Metra train station in Cicero. Board the Metra Rock Island Line train towards LaSalle Street Station in Chicago. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at LaSalle Street Station. From there, exit the station and walk to the Clark/Lake station to transfer to the Green Line train towards Ashland. Get off at the 18th stop, which is the 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station.
