Once you arrive at Damen Station, transfer to the nearby Western bus (Route 49) at the Damen & 18th Ave stop. Ride the Western bus north for approximately 8 stops until you reach the stop at Grand Blvd & Bluff City Blvd. From there, walk east on Grand Blvd for about 0.3 miles until you arrive at the Elgin Public Museum located at 225 Grand Blvd, Elgin, IL 60120.
Bicycle
If you're comfortable cycling, you can rent a bike in Cicero and navigate towards Elgin. Start by heading north on Central Ave until you reach the intersection with 16th St. Turn left onto 16th St and follow it until you reach the Chicago River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the Elgin area. Once you arrive in Elgin, continue to Grand Blvd and turn left. The Elgin Public Museum will be on your right at 225 Grand Blvd, Elgin, IL 60120.

For those who prefer to walk, start from the center of Cicero and head north along Central Ave. Walk until you reach 18th St, then turn east on 18th St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Western Ave. Cross Western Ave and continue walking east on 18th St until you reach the Damen Station. Afterward, transfer to the Western bus (Route 49) at Damen & 18th Ave stop and ride it north to Grand Blvd & Bluff City Blvd. Walk east on Grand Blvd for about 0.3 miles until you arrive at the museum.
