    From anywhere in Cicero, head to the nearest bus stop and take the CTA bus route #54A (Cermak) heading east. The bus will take you towards 54th Avenue. After about 15-20 minutes, transfer at the 54th Avenue and Kedzie stop to the CTA bus route #74 (Fullerton) heading east. Stay on this bus for approximately 25-30 minutes until you reach the intersection of Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive. From there, you can walk north along Lake Shore Drive for about 10 minutes to reach North Avenue Beach.

  • Walking and Public Transit

    If you are near the Cicero Avenue and 16th Street intersection, walk to the Cicero Pink Line station. Take the Pink Line train towards 18th, and transfer at the Damen station to the Blue Line. From Damen, travel towards O'Hare and get off at the Division station. Once you exit, walk east on Division Street until you reach Lake Shore Drive. Turn north and walk for about 20 minutes along the lakeshore to arrive at North Avenue Beach.
