    Ferne Clyffe Waterfall Trail is located within Ferne Clyffe State Park, accessible via Illinois Route 37. From I-57, take exit 40 (Goreville) and head east for 5 miles to IL-37, then turn south. The park entrance is one mile south of Goreville. Follow the park road to the parking area near the Big Rocky Hollow trailhead; from there, the Waterfall Trail is a short walk.
