    The Giant City Visitor Center is located within Giant City State Park, accessible via Giant City Road. From Carbondale, take Giant City Road south for approximately 12 miles; the road leads directly into the park. Once inside the park, follow signs for the Visitor Center, which is located at 1-245 Giant City Rd. Ample parking is available at the Visitor Center. There are no fees for parking.

    If you are already within Giant City State Park, follow Giant City Road, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to the Visitor Center. Several trails connect to the Visitor Center area, including the Arrow Wood Trail, which starts next to the center. The Post Oak Trail is also located near the Visitor Center. No costs are associated with walking to the visitor center from within the park.
