    From Illinois Beach State Park, exit the park and head south on IL-131 S. Continue on IL-131 S for approximately 2.2 miles. Take a right onto Wadsworth Rd and then another right onto Sheridan Rd (IL-42 S). Follow Sheridan Rd for about 12 miles until you reach Grosse Point Lighthouse located at 2601 Sheridan Rd, Evanston, IL 60201. Parking is available nearby, and please note that some areas may require a parking fee.

    From Illinois Beach State Park, you can take a bus to the nearest train station. First, take the Pace Bus 572 from the park to the Waukegan Metra Station. From there, you can either walk 1.5 miles to the lighthouse or take a local bus (Pace Bus 201) to Sheridan Rd & Dempster St and walk the remaining distance to Grosse Point Lighthouse at 2601 Sheridan Rd.
